Following feedback from parents, we changed our approach to homework this term.
There is still the expectation that children should read daily and practice their times tables/number facts and spellings.
However, we also wanted the children to have the opportunity to be more creative and have time working on selected tasks.
The outcome has been wonderful; the school has been filled with models, reports and drawings and many parents have expressed how lovely it has been to be more engaged in homework without the time pressure of just a couple of days.
