Our Learning Muscles
We want our children to develop positive attitudes to learning and so we have identified four key learning muscles that we would like to develop in our children. These muscles are reinforced on a daily basis and celebrated with the class teacher.
Resourceful We help children to become self-motivated in working towards their goals, showing initiative and being creative.
Resilient We encourage children to be resilient when things get tough, to persevere and believe in themselves.
Risk-taker We celebrate risks being taken as children learn to be courageous and use mistakes productively to move learning forward.
Reflective We aim for children to be reflective about their learning and behaviour, to be open-minded, inquisitive and set goals for themselves.

You will be rewarded in Friday's assembly, if your teacher sees you flexing your learning muscles.
