Year 4 Greek Day

On Tuesday 12 November the children experienced a wonderful Ancient Greek Day. In the morning the children had the opportunity to make mosaics, pottery, oil for the oil lamps, mix herbs and spices for medicines, tile painting and some carving. We finished the morning with a story.  In the afternoon the children had a feast and festival. There were food tasters to check the food was safe and servants to serve us. In the festival the children had to dance and perform some drama. The children really enjoyed the day and took part in all the activities superbly.
