Welcome to Norton CEVC Primary School. We hope that you will enjoy looking at our website and take the opportunity to look in closer detail at the life of our school.
Our school is very much a part of the village community, with strong links with the church and other aspects of village life. It is a happy school with high educational standards and a caring family atmosphere. Our aim is that all children enjoy their time with us at school and experience growing confidence and success in their learning. Our staff are highly motivated and dedicated to providing an excellent start in education for each and every child. At present there are 107 pupils on roll.
The school environment is an attractive place for learning and recreation, accommodating four spacious classrooms, hall, library and office space. Outside, the school has an excellent play area and a large school field. There is an outside classroom for quiet reflection, a sensory garden with seating area and raised beds for gardening activities. We have a wildlife garden which includes a pond to encourage a range of habitats for wildlife. All children use this area for outdoor learning in their time at school. We have Eco-Schools’ Green Flag status.
Parents are very supportive of the school and the school values the partnership we have with parents.
