As part of our learning about Sikhism in RE, Year 4 enjoyed a trip to the Guru Nanak Gurdwara in Ipswich. The President of the Gurdwara talked us through the history and customs of the Sikh faith and helped us to understand the concept of 'equality' which we had been learning about in class. The children sat beautifully and listened well. They were also able to ask some fantastic questions and take part in a turban tie!
