School Council

What is a School Council?

A school council is a group of pupils who act as representatives of their classmates in discussing school issues with the headteacher and staff.

Pupils are elected to represent the views of all pupils and also to improve their school. They help to make decisions about how the school is run and take on projects that support the children’s learning and development, such as organising charity events, talking to the classes about key issues and working with the headteacher and other members of staff to address any areas for improvement.

School councils are usually elected annually by the other children.

Our School Council Members for 2025-26 are:

Henry (Star Class), Hope (Galaxy Class), Arthur (Year 2), Lilly (Year 3), Riley Thorp (Year 4), Elsie and Teddy (Year 5) and Georgia and James (Year 6).
