Who are we?

Hi, we are Bethany, Lexi-Ann, Sadie-Grace, Primrose, Florence and Elsie. We are the worship team for this year. Our job is to promote the school's Christian vision and values and to lead Collective Worship.

As a Worship Team, we lead acts of Collective worship, helping the other children to reflect on our Christian vision and values. We are young leaders, who want to inspire others in our community to be courageous and make a difference. We want the younger children to understand that everyone is important in our community.

Harvest Festival

On Monday 28th September, all the classes gathered at Norton Baptist church to celebrate our annual Harvest festival. We sang a harvest-related song led by Mr Cole. Our favourite song was Cauliflowers Fluffy. Caroline Vallance led an inspiring talk about how chocolate bars can represent different emotions.

Normally, we would donate food to a local food bank. This year we decided to do something different. We chose to celebrate a local charity called The Moses Basket Project. They support new mothers and babies who are experiencing hardship. We had amazing donations including wet wipes, nappies, shampoo, Sudocrem and lots more. We had so many generous donations that our Moses basket overflowed onto 4 tables!
