• Homework Exhibition

  It was lovely to see so many parents and children attend our Homework Exhibition. This year the work has been to an amazing standard and all children should be proud of their achievements. Their hard work is definitely worth celebrating. 

  

• Sports Day

  It was lovely to have our first Sports Day on our new field. The sun shone and the children behaved fabulously, showing true sportsmanship and competitiveness. 

  

• Gold Award in the Junior Road Safety Officer Scheme

  On Friday 29 June, Norton CEVC Primary School achieved a Gold Award in the Junior Road Safety Officer Scheme. Two pupils from Norton have worked tirelessly to promote Road Safety this year by organising competitions and fund raising events. They also worked with the younger pupils teaching them the Green Cross Code. We are very proud of their achievements. 

  

• Rojo Art Mosaic

  Rojo Art have joined us this week to create a mosaic to reflect what Norton CEVCP is all about. The design is a combination of ideas from pupils in the school. It will be located in the entrance foyer so that all visitors can see it once it is complete. Some of the features of the design include:- pupils dressed in our blue school uniform, symbols representing that we are a church school as well as musical notes and a football to represent our creative and sports side. Everyone in the school will get a chance during the week to be a part of the mosaic and leave a lasting impression on our school. Make sure you look out for the finished product.
