• Junior Journalists Ukrainian Schools assembly

  This morning, our Junior Journalists delivered a wonderful, thought provoking assembly on schools the Ukraine. You can find a copy of their PowerPoint presentation on the Collective Worship page in the Parent section of our website. 

  

• EYFS and KS1 Harvest Festival

  EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 children walked down to Norton Baptist Church to celebrate Harvest Festival. We sang our Harvest songs, read poems and shared pictures.

   

   

  

• Lower Key Stage 2 Harvest Festival

  Rocket Class and Comet Class came together to celebrate the Harvest Festival. We gave thanks to God and offered donations of food for a local food bank. 

  

• Metal Matters

  This morning, Ellie from Tata Steel came in to discuss the Metal Matters recycling scheme with Comet and Rockets class. She set us the mission to check that we are recycling all the metal we can at home.

  

• Street Dance

  All the children had the opportunity to expereince a hip hop/street dance session with Tina Sparkes, from Platinum Dance Academy. The children had fun learning parts of a sequence as wells as being imaginative with some free styling.  We are hoping to provide all children at Norton CEVC Primary School with a sporitng enrichment opportunity each half term.
