Year 3 Ipswich Museum
On Wednesday 16th March, Comet Class visited Ipswich Museum to take part in their ‘Journeys in Ancient Egypt’ workshop. This trip was organised as part of their History curriculum based on Ancient Egypt. The trip enabled pupils to discover and investigate real Egyptian artefacts that have been found in tombs. During the day, the children mapped the journey of an Ancient Egyptian artefact from the potter who made it to the museum visitors who handle it today. All the children had a wonderful day and it was lovely to hear the children sharing knowledge and facts which they have learnt in class.
