Year 5 and 6 children visited Norwich Theatre Royal to watch 'The boy at the back of the class'. • Year 1 visit to the Polar Museum & Cambridge Botanic Gardens

Wed 24 Apr 2024 Mrs Rossiter

Year 1 had a fantastic trip to the Polar Museum in Cambridge. This was linked to their Geography topic on the Arctic. The children were fascinated by all the amazing artefacts on show and enjoyed learning about the different clothes, sleeping bags, food and even instruments that have been taken on polar expeditions. We were also honoured to be allowed into one of the University of Cambridge lecture theatres to find out more about the Arctic and see a real Polar Bear skin!

Whilst in Cambridge we also enjoyed some time in the beautiful Botanic Gardens, viewing the interesting plants and looking for signs of Spring as part of our science work.
